Farm/Altitude: Gidey Berhe Retta, 1,800-2130m Coffee Type: Heirloom, Organic Processed: Natural Roast: Medium Light Located far in the West of Ethiopia in an area known as Limu Kossa, Gidey farms his coffee on a 350 hectare farm that sits at 1840-2130 meters above sea level. The farm is meticulously maintained, from the trees to the signs dividing the lot sections on the farm. The land was once wild bush and has been thinned slightly to accommodate the coffee but the feeling of quiet solitude pervades amongst the native trees. The coffee is picked by 400 seasonal workers that can be found singing happily as they go about their work. At the farms collection station, green cherries are sorted out before their bags are weighed for payment. The green cherries are dried as naturals and sold to the local market. The mill processes around 20,000kg of cherry per day during the peak of the season. The coffee dried for 24 hours under cover before being placed in the full sun for a further 7-10 days. 10% VAT included in the price |

Se podruce en la Hacienda Gidey la cual se encuentraentre 1840-2130 metros de Altura con una extension de 350 hectareas. Es una hacienda meticulosamente cuidada y adapta para siembra de café entre los milenarios arboles nativos. El café es cosechado por un equipo de recolectores estusiastas que suman aproximadamente 400 por temporada, hacienda esta actividad su metodo de vida y asi lo aceptan con gran alegria. Lo granos son cuidadosamente seleccionados antes de ser pesados para pagar la labor. El proceso de secado de este producto es al natural, es decir con la corteza para mantener los sabores orginales. En este proceso el café se seca por 24 horas cubierto por un period aproximado de 7 a 10 dias continuos. La recoleecion es de aproximadamente de 20.000 Kilos de ceresas diarios durante el pico de la temporada. 10% IVA incluido en el precio |
